New Features in RDM Professional & Enterprise Series 2.7.6
List of project and models in the repository
- SILVERRUN-RDM 2.7.6 offers a new
option enabling you to resize the window displaying the list of
projects/models in the repository (Enterprise Version).
File management
- This new
version of SILVERRUN-RDM now displays the nine most recently
opened files.
- When you use
the Save As command to save your file, SILVERRUN-RDM 2.7.6
automatically opens the file's origin folder, i.e. the location where
the file was opened from.

the abbreviation dictionary, you can keep the original coded names'
case by enabling the No change option.
Diagram options

2.7.6, Additional Descriptors and Owner display
options are now specifically saved for each diagram.
Integration and Propagation
- The integration and propagation can now
compare and synchronize the column's sequence between two tables.
- The propagation can now synchronize the
column's sequence between two combinations.
- If you merge the foreign keys and the
propagation function is enabled, SILVERRUN-RDM 2.7.6 propagates
the operation.
- The size of the windows displaying the lists
of objects for tables and connectors, during the integration process,
is enhanced.
Synchronization
- The size of
the windows displaying the lists of objects for tables and connectors,
during the synchronization process, is enhanced.
Foreign keys
- When generating foreign keys, new foreign
columns can be created. SILVERRUN-RDM 2.7.6 prioritizes to keep
the new columns in consistent order with the parent table.
- Updating the Null Value Possible of
columns via the Update Descriptors option was enhanced for
cases in which the foreign column is merged. The Null Value Possible
for the column is now set by taking into account all minimal
connectivities of directions implied according to the rule: if there is
at least one direction with a minimal connectivity of 1, then the
column must be set to NOT NULL.
Column Move & Copy
- In SILVERRUN-RDM
2.7.6, when you use the data entry window of a column, the Copy
column and Move column functions will also copy the column's default
value.
Alternate combination-columns
- It is now possible to assign Null value
possible to a column in an alternate combination.

supported yet. If the application does not recognize the version of the
database, it connects to the most recent version supported.
